This product is sold in a can to shield its delicate nature of unpasteurized sake from the light. Being unpasteurized this can be aged in your own fridge as long as you like. After 1 year or so, the flavour will turn more mellow, fuller developing velvety mouth feel. 

Funaguchi has a rich, full bodied flavour yet with a refreshing clean finish, Unlike conventional sake (diluted with water to reduce alcohol down to 15%), Funaguchi is undiluted making it an all-round performer from chilled, frozen, on the rocks or as a mixer in cocktails.
